Unit 205 - Effective Erosion and Sediment Control will offer an overview on soil erosion and best management practices to consider while reviewing permit applications as well as what to use on the ground. This program is free to MACC-member conservation commissioners.

We’re happy to announce that we’re offering our this elective Fundamental unit at no charge to MACC-member conservation commissioners.   Conservation commissioners, associate commissioners, commission staff, and other municipal staff in cities/towns with MACC-member commissions may take the units at no charge, courtesy of funding provided through MACC's David Standley Fund for Stormwater, Climate Change, and Sea Level Rise.

  • Jurisdiction and regulations
  • Control applications
  • Best management practices
  • Incorporating ESC in conservation commission decision making. 

MACC members who are not serving on conservation commissions, and others, are welcome to attend this education program at the regular rates, below.
